If you’re writing a novel, are you doing it because you love writing, or because you love to share stories? There’s a difference.
Sometimes I feel upset over criticism on my work, but in the end I feel grateful that someone took the time to give me feedback. It’s that feedback that will help me learn to connect my work better with an audience.
I’ve sold a number of short stories and working to publishing my first novel, sharing what I learn along the way.
That’s one thing about feedback, sometimes it can be hard to read/accept, but sometimes we forget that it takes a lot of effort on the other side!
